Anew (Contest: Feather)

Once tickled by plumes
with quick little sweeps
in palms of hands,
under bottom of feet…
This nostalgic peep into past giggles
a treat of memories where friends plus family
squeezed little ones who squirmed,
wiggled, not harmed.
Warmed
their hearts squealing ‘loved’.
Thrilled to be part of…
Reflections
spinning as on wind
sweet
swept
gentle reveries
retreats into yesterdays
drawn from deep within…
Now we kneel
plead
frivolity
to be more than echoes
revibrating
through waves…
History.
We crave renewals.
A rebirth into a gentile society…
To greet new days
without recapping tragedies…
Delightful breezes.
Plumages to pin
pleasant–Anew.
