Discontentment
Discontentment:
Precious
Energy
Squandered.
Time,
Better
Well-spent
as circles
Negativity
mimicking
Vultures
over a carcass
where buzzards’ beaks
are already
savagely
bent.
Or
like a funnel
twisting wearisome wicked words
through
ones’ mind and heart
to total disaster
promised.
By own emotions
to tragedy
lent.
*
“The Grave
and the place of destruction
are never satisfied,
Nor are a man’s eyes
ever satisfied.”
Prov. 27:20.
*
“There are three things that do not get satisfied,
Four that never say, “Enough!”
—The Grave and a barren womb,
A land that is deprived of water,
And fire that never says,
“Enough!”
Prov. 30:15, 16.
