Back in the 1st century initiated
this ‘hope’ new in which Peter stated:

“Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for according to his great mercy he gave us

a new birth to a living hope

through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
to an incorruptible and undefiled and unfading inheritance.

It is reserved in the heavens for you”. 1 Pet. 1:3, 4.

“And I heard the number of those who were sealed, 144,000”. Rev. 7:4

Here originally to them Jesus proclamated: “Have no fear, little flock, for your Father has approved of giving you the Kingdom.” Luke 12:32.

144,000?.. Why such a limited number of faithful Christians who, after their death, will be resurrected to life in heaven… so few?

These ones “Forgetting the things behind and stretching forward to the things ahead,”

“pressing on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God by means of Christ Jesus.” Phil. 312-14…

Just what are these ones selected by God and Christ called to do?

Christ “bought people for God
out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,”

“made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God,

and they are to rule as kings over the earth.” Rev. 5:9, 10.

Not divided in purpose. One government. One preoccupation:

Restoring mankind to perfection and the earth to paradise. God’s name cleared of defamation.

“For look! I am creating new heavens and a new earth;

And the former things will not be called to mind,
Nor will they come up into the heart.” Isa. 65:17.

“But there are new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting according to his promise, and in these righteousness is to dwell.” 2 Pet. 3:13.

1,000 years designated for this grand transition:
“they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and they will rule as kings with him for the 1,000 years.” Rev. 20:6.

After
The ‘Great Day of Jehovah’
in which these ones,
with Christ,

will remove wickedness from this globe
by means of a catastrophic
manipulated

devastation: “These (kings of the earth) will battle with the Lamb,

but because he is Lord of lords and King of kings,
the Lamb will conquer them.

Also, those with him
who are called and chosen and faithful
will do so

.” Rev. 17:14.

“And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven with the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.

He seized the dragon,
the original serpent,
who is the Devil and Satan,

and bound him for 1,000 years.

And he hurled him into the abyss and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not mislead the nations anymore until the 1,000 years were ended.

After this he must be released for a little while.” Rev. 20:1-3.

Representatives
who can relate
to habits disapproved by God
in which they too did, in the past, participate:

“Or do you not know that unrighteous people will not inherit God’s Kingdom?

Do not be misled. Those who are sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, men who submit to homosexual acts, men who practice homosexuality, thieves, greedy people, drunkards, revilers, and extortioners will not inherit God’s Kingdom.

And yet that is what some of you were.

But you have been washed clean; you have been sanctified; you have been declared righteous in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God.” 1 Cor. 6:9-11.

Yes, these ‘chosen’ few are called to reign with Christ, of whom was prophesied:

“For a child has been born to us,
A son has been given to us;

And the rulership will rest on his shoulder.
His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.

To the increase of his rulership
And to peace, there will be no end,

On the throne of David and on his kingdom
In order to establish it firmly and to sustain it
Through justice and righteousness,

From now on and forever.
The zeal of Jehovah of armies will do this.” Isa. 9:6, 7.

No longer wicked ones to “cause any harm
Or any ruin in all my holy mountain,

Because the earth will certainly be filled with the knowledge of Jehovah

As the waters cover the sea.” Isa. 11:9.

This is what these ‘called’ and ‘chosen’ ones will help oversee… Yes, eliminated even these further adversities:

“He will swallow up death forever,

And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.

The reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth,

For Jehovah himself has spoken it.” Isa. 25:8.

“For this is what Jehovah says,
The Creator of the heavens, the true God,
The One who formed the earth, its Maker who firmly established it,

Who did not create it simply for nothing, but formed it to be inhabited:

“I am Jehovah, and there is no one else.” Isa. 4518.

Is it not reasonable then
why some
to the heavens would go?

. . . To represent mankind before God during Christ’s 1,000 year reign.

Since Jesus himself suffered for mankind
as a human, He can be just and fair
in ruling over mankind.

Be understanding of human imperfections in their various degrees, unlike faithful angels, onlooking perfect spirit beings:

“Although he was a son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered. And after he had been made perfect, he became responsible for everlasting salvation to all those obeying him”. Heb. 5:8, 9.

As our High Priest, Jesus Christ “is able also to save completely those who are approaching God through him, because he is always alive to plead for them.” Heb. 7:24, 25.
