Hi Everyone!

Welcome to ITH & SB . . . somewhat of a lifestyle blog. The purpose to highlight, encourage or motivate people around the world to aspire to the best life possible. Here you will find a variety of positive or informative articles, videos, audios and eventually links to workshops. The goal is to edify our brothers and sisters worldwide. Technology has brought us closer, so we need to inspire one another as family members should.

Please bear with me as this site develops. Hopefully you will return often and find yourselves encouraged and even highlighted as a “Person of Interest” or “Organization to Follow”.

Thank you for stopping by.

Ciao for now 🙂

Yours sincerely,

Highlighted ‘Hope’

‘As a Light to the Peoples’

I can understand the why of ‘Big Sky Country’.

An expanse glorious
where rays of sun dance on tiptoe
upon shimmering ripples of tranquil rivers
or valley lakes becoming frozen.

Echoed squeals, peals of laughter from tiny tots,
hands being held, barely able to walk
to active youthful bones twirling in speed
to take off in eagle-like flight
to suddenly skid to a rapid stop
while even those wobbling upon battered skates
did joyously participate…

Then mountains peaking ‘hope’
firm formed in mast mornings as faith begun
cast dark shadows upon man’s land

as each sun descended…

‘Man dominating man’ to his injury as young lions
tearing prey pretended ‘integrity’…

Security upended…

Thus ‘refuge’ from these men in stronger hands
must lay… for as upon ‘hills’
they lay traps.

We fervently pray
as days now hazy spin in heat of global adversity:

Fires, floods, land quakes yearly repeated.
Futures shaky as every day lives are at stake internationally…

Finances and energies seemingly depleted…

Mountains as foundations of men rattle
as opponents treacherously tattle

revealing foundations weak,
weakened, or constructed of materials bought
by conspirators cheaply…

So heads are straddled with mounting pressure
producing fissures in familial living…

Marijuana streamed as native smoke to cope daily
coating decision making responsibly with dreamlike valor
though fingertips reach forward feeling tentatively
during a growing bleakness… called ‘rather not’.

Individuals opting ‘out’ silently or by violence of suicidal acts
as others vehemently shout during ‘retributive attacks’
for individual ‘rights’ of ‘justice’ proponed by ‘democracy’
as billionaires carve out their own ‘space odyssey’…

What is this really all about?

Sovereignty.

Who has the right to rule?

“Let me praise Jehovah.

O Jehovah my God, you are very great.
With majesty and splendor you are clothed.”

“Wrapped in light as with a garment;
You stretch out the heavens like a tent cloth.

He lays beams of his upper rooms in the waters above,
Making the clouds his chariot,
Moving on the wings of the wind.

He makes his angels spirits,
His ministers a consuming fire.

He has established the earth on its foundations;

It will not be moved from its place
forever and ever.”

“Who is wise enough to count the clouds,
Or who can tip over the water jars of heaven
When the dust pours into a mass
And the clods of earth stick together?”

“To Jehovah belong the earth and everything in it,
The productive land and those dwelling on it.
For he has solidly fixed it on the seas
And firmly established it on the rivers.”

“Yours, O Jehovah, are the greatness and the mightiness and the beauty and the splendor and the majesty,

for everything in the heavens and on the earth is yours.

Yours is the kingdom, O Jehovah.

You are the One exalting yourself as head over all.

He asks: “Who has given me anything first that I should repay him?
Whatever is under the heavens is mine.”

Yes, prophesied: “In the final part of the days,

The mountain of the house of Jehovah
Will become firmly established above the top of the mountains,
And it will be raised up above the hills,

And to it all the nations will stream.

And many peoples will go and say:
“Come, let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah,…
He will instruct us about his ways,
And we will walk in his paths.””

“He will render judgment among the nations
And set matters straight respecting many peoples.

They will beat their swords into plowshares
And their spears into pruning shears.

Nation will not lift up sword against nation,
Nor will they learn war anymore.”

Therefore, we are admonished to : “Pay attention
to me, O my people,
And give ear to me, my nation.
For a law will go out from me,

And my justice I will establish
as a light to the peoples.”

For: “Isaiah says:

“There will be the root of Jesʹse,
the one arising to rule nations;

on him nations will rest their hope.
”

May the God who gives hope fill you with all joy and peace
by your trusting in him,

so that you may abound in hope”.

***

For: â€śLook!

My servant whom I chose,
my beloved, whom I have approved!

I will put my spirit upon him, and what justice is
he will make clear to the nations.

He will not quarrel nor cry aloud,
nor will anyone hear his voice in the main streets.

No bruised reed will he crush,
and no smoldering wick will he extinguish,

until he brings justice with success.

Indeed,

in his name nations will hope.””
