“The God of loving-kindness*
(Or, “loyal love.”)
to me
will himself confront me;
God himself will cause me
to look upon my foes.” Ps. 59:10.
***
“Many are the calamities of the righteous one,
But out of them all Jehovah delivers him.” Ps. 34:19.
Yes, “The salvation of the righteous ones
is from Jehovah;
He is their fortress in the time of distress.” Ps. 37:39.
For, “Jehovah knows how to deliver people
of godly devotion
out of trial,
but to reserve unrighteous people
for the day of judgment to be cut off*”. 2 Pet. 2:9.
(Or, “be checked.” )
***
“David continued to have success*
(Or “act wisely.”)
in all he did,
and Jehovah was with him.” 1 Sam. 18:14.
“Jehovah was with Joseph.
As a result, he became successful
and was put over the house of his master,
the Egyptian.” Gen. 39:2.
“So Jehovah was with Joshua,
and his fame spread through all the earth.” Joshua 6:27.
“The king then elevated Daniel
and gave him many fine gifts,
and he made him the ruler
over all the province of Babylon
and the chief prefect
over all the wise men of Babylon.
And at Daniel’s request,
the king appointed Shaʹdrach, Meʹshach, and A·bedʹne·go
over the administration of the province of Babylon,
but Daniel served in the king’s court.” Dan. 2:48, 49.
***
“For out of every distress he delivered me,
And upon my enemies my eye has looked.” Ps. 54:7.
***
““During that time
Miʹcha·el will stand up,
the great prince
who is standing in behalf of your people.*
(Lit., “the sons of your people.”)
And there will occur a time of distress
such as has not occurred since there came to be a nation
until that time.
And during that time your people will escape,
everyone who is found
written down in the book.
And many of those asleep in the dust of the earth
will wake up,
some to everlasting life
and others to reproach
and to everlasting contempt.” Dan. 12:1, 2.
***
““When the Son of man comes in his glory,
and all the angels with him,
then he will sit down on his glorious throne.
All the nations will be gathered before him,
and he will separate people one from another,
just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
And he will put the sheep on his right hand,
but the goats on his left.
“Then the King will say to those on his right:
‘Come, you who have been blessed by my Father,
inherit the Kingdom
prepared for you from the founding of the world.
For I became hungry and you gave me something to eat;
I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink.
I was a stranger and you received me hospitably;
naked and you clothed me.
I fell sick and you looked after me.
I was in prison and you visited me.’
Then the righteous ones will answer him with the words:
‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you,
or thirsty and give you something to drink?
When did we see you a stranger and receive you hospitably,
or naked and clothe you?
When did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’
In reply the King will say to them,
‘Truly I say to you,
to the extent that you did it to
one of the least of these my brothers,
you did it to me.’” Matt. 25:31-40.

“Look! a great crowd,
which no man was able to number,
out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues,
standing before the throne
and before the Lamb,
dressed in white robes;
and there were palm branches in their hands.
And they keep shouting with a loud voice, saying:
“Salvation we owe to our God,
who is seated on the throne,
and to the Lamb.”
““These are the ones
who come out of the great tribulation,
and they have washed their robes
and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
That is why they are before the throne of God,
and they are rendering him sacred service day and night
in his temple;
and the One seated on the throne
will spread his tent over them.
They will hunger no more nor thirst anymore,
neither will the sun beat down on them
nor any scorching heat,
because the Lamb,
who is in the midst of the throne,
will shepherd them
and will guide them
to springs of waters of life.
And God will wipe out every tear from their eyes.” Rev. 7:9, 10, 14-17.
Yes: “I heard a loud voice from the throne say:
“Look! The tent of God is with mankind,
and he will reside with them,
and they will be his people.
And God himself will be with them.
And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes,
and death will be no more,
neither will mourning nor outcry
nor pain be anymore.
The former things have passed away.”
And the One seated on the throne said:
“Look! I am making all things new.”
Also he says: “Write,
for these words are faithful and true.”” Rev. 21:3-5.
