“Life For Life’

‘LIfe For LIfe’

“Moreover, the crowds going ahead of him
and those following him

kept shouting:

“Save, we pray,
the Son of David!

Blessed is the one

who comes
in

Jehovah’s name!

Save him, we pray,
in the heights above!”

And when he entered Jerusalem,
the whole city was in an uproar,

saying:
“Who is this?”

The crowds kept saying:

“This is the prophet Jesus,
from Nazʹa·reth of Galʹi·lee!”
 Matt. 21:9-11.

“For a child has been born to us,
A son has been given to us;

And the rulership will rest
on his shoulder.

His name will be called

Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Eternal Father,

Prince of Peace.”
 Isa. 6:9.

“Also, blind and lame people came to him in the temple,
and he cured them.

When the chief priests and the scribes
saw the marvelous things he did

and the boys who were shouting in the temple,
“Save, we pray, the Son of David!”

they became indignant
and said to him:

“Do you hear what these are saying?”
 Matt. 21:14-16.

For from their hypocritical
leadership

many were swaying…

What exquisite regal beauty
found

in a leader

Almighty

encapsulated
in
profound wisdom.

Bound by his own
‘righteous’ standards…

Not above his own laws.

Motivated by
four main attributes:

Love and Justice
Wisdom and Power

Each
equally sound.

So, He sent his ‘mighty’ son
for generous blessings

soon

to thankfully
universally abound:

“For just as in Adam
all are dying,

so also
in the Christ

all will be made alive.”
 1 Cor. 15:22.

“For all have sinned
and fall short of the glory of God,

and it is as a free gift

that they are being declared righteous
by his undeserved kindness

through the release by the ransom
paid

by Christ Jesus.”
 Rom. 3:23, 24.

“For the world to know that I love the Father,

I am doing just as the Father
has commanded me to do.”
 John 14:31.

For: “No one has love greater than this,

that someone should surrender his life
in behalf of his friends.”
 John 15:13.

What Can His Sacrifice Mean for You? Tuesday, April 4, 2023

The Son of man came . . . to give his life as a ransom in exchange for many.—Mark 10:45.What is the ransom? The price Jesus paid to buy back what Adam lost. (1 Cor. 15:22) Why do we need the ransom? Because Jehovah’s standard of justice as set out in the Law required that a life be given for a life. (Ex. 21:23, 24) Adam lost his perfect human life. To satisfy God’s justice, Jesus sacrificed his perfect human life. (Rom. 5:17) He thus becomes an “Eternal Father” to all those who exercise faith in the ransom. (Isa. 9:6; Rom. 3:23, 24) Jesus was willing to sacrifice his life because of his great love for his heavenly Father and for us. (John 14:31; 15:13) Moved by that love, he was determined to keep his integrity to the end and to accomplish his Father’s will. Jesus did so by remaining faithful until his death. As a result, Jehovah’s original purpose for mankind and for the earth will be fulfilled.
