END-GOAL

End-Goal

“As for mortal man,
his days are like those of grass;

He blooms like a blossom of the field.
But when a wind blows, it is no more,

As though it was never there.”
 Ps. 103:15, 16.

“Like a cloud that fades and vanishes,
The one who goes down to the Grave

does not come back up.

He will not return again to his house,
And his place will acknowledge him no more.”
 Job 7:9, 10.

Yes: “the living know
that they will die,

but the dead know nothing at all,

nor do they have any more reward,
because all memory of them is forgotten.”
 Eccl. 9:5.

Yet: “there is no lasting memory either of the wise one
or of the stupid one.

In the days to come,
everyone will be forgotten.

And how will the wise one die?

Along with the stupid one.”
 Eccl. 2:16.

So: “When under trial,

let no one say:
“I am being tried by God.”

For with evil things God cannot be tried,
nor does he himself try anyone.”
 James 1:13.

“For a certainty,
God does not act wickedly;

The Almighty does not pervert justice.”
 Job 34:12.

“For Jehovah is our Judge,
Jehovah is our Lawgiver,

Jehovah is our King;

He is the One who will save us.”
 Isa. 33:22.

Therefore: “know that everyone who has been born from God
does not practice sin,

but the one born from God
(That is, Jesus Christ, the Son of God.)

watches him,

and the wicked one cannot take hold of him.”
 1 John 5:18.
(Or “does not fasten his hold on him.”)

Yet…for now “We know that we originate with God,
but the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one.”
 1 John 5:19.

And overtime,

he attempted
to steal

then he stole
my soul–

my life,
my body,
my future goals…

Bit-by-bit.
Shattered.
Cold…

Until he gobbled
me down.

Eaten. Me. Whole…

You’d think
he’d grow heavy.

Weighted down
with us

as melted ‘gold’.

But he kept his pace
growing bolder than bold.

Hoping we’d been erased.
Our youth,
courage, and vigor.

Especially when
we’d suddenly grown old;

could no longer
keep apace.

He thought we’d no fight.
Gave up on the race…

But we’d been told:

“They can take your present life.
But eternity they can’t touch.”

So: “do not become fearful of those who kill the body
but cannot kill the soul;

(Or “life,” that is,
a person’s future life by means of a resurrection.)

rather, fear him who can destroy both soul and body
in Ge·henʹna.

(This means everlasting destruction.)

Two sparrows sell for a coin of small value,
do they not?

Yet not one of them will fall to the ground
without your Father’s knowledge.

But even the hairs of your head are all numbered.

So have no fear;
you are worth more than many sparrows.”
 Matt. 10:28-31.

Your life is in Jah’s hands.

And that’s your ‘end-goal’…

“And they conquered him

because of the blood of the Lamb
and because of the word of their witnessing,

and they did not love their souls

even in the face of death.”
 Rev. 12:11.

For whoever wants to save his life will lose it,
but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.”
 Matt. 16:25.

Christ Jesus to his audience stated:

“Now there is a judging of this world;

now the ruler of this world
will be cast out.

And yet I, if I am lifted up from the earth,
will draw all sorts of men to myself.” John 12:31, 32.

Even until today related;
although, by ridiculers globally debated…
