‘Truth’ Outruns and Outlasts. . .

‘Truth’ Outruns and Outlasts. . .

Fantasy.
Role-playing.

Story-telling
internationally

is thought
‘harmless’

but, in fact, actually
the wise King Solomon–

“The congregator”
who
“sought to find delightful words

and to record
accurate words

of truth”

noted:

“The words of the wise are like oxgoads,
and their collected sayings are like firmly embedded nails;

they have been given from
one shepherd.”

So, he stated:

“As for anything besides these,
my son,

be warned:

To the making of many books
there is no end,

and much devotion to them
is wearisome

to the flesh.”

Eccl. 12:10-12.

Why,
in time,
Paul to Timothy

wisely spoke
what is best:

“Really,
the objective of this instruction

is love

out of a clean heart
and out of a good conscience
and out of faith

without hypocrisy.

By deviating from these things,
some have been turned aside

to meaningless talk.

They want to be teachers of law,
but they do not understand either the things they are saying
or the things they insist on so strongly.”

1 Tim. 1:5-7.

A Creator
with a ‘purpose’
is considered to them

a hilarious
‘joke’.

Yet,

Fables. Fables.
Spun round global tables.

Without fact.
For fun.

Long ago.
Centuries back begun.

We must:
“Reject

irreverent
false stories,

like those told by old women.”
In singsong sung.

Or whispering in jest
until the day’s sun is done…

For with these fabulous
‘words’ of fiction

meant to emotions
rattle or stun–

fluff is actually
what one imbibes

for exists
no value

in there ‘eternal’
sum…

“On the other hand,”

to these crippling crisis
daily to overcome:

“train yourself

with godly devotion
as your aim.”
1 Tim. 4:7.

For a ‘victory’ divine
to be gratefully ‘won’…

To endure

through this life
and sanity maintain.

In this day of ‘groaning’ international pain
time is of the essence,

for wisdom
to gain…

***

“For there will be a period of time
when they will not put up with

the wholesome teaching,

but
according to their own desires,

they will surround themselves
with teachers

to have their ears
tickled.

They will turn away from listening
to the truth

and give attention

to false stories.”

2 Tim. 4:3, 4.

Although,
‘real’
fables

‘truth’
outlasts and outruns…
