Though a Pale Horse Rides, One Can Survive

Though a Pale Horse Rides, One Can Survive

“And I saw,
and look!

a pale horse,

and the one seated on it
had the name

Death.

And the Grave
was closely following him.

And authority was given them
over the fourth part of the earth,

to kill with a long sword
and with food shortage

and with deadly plague

and by the wild beasts of the earth.”
Rev. 6:8.

***

He rode in at a gallop
during our twentieth century.

War World I
initiated this historic steed.

In its wake,

ravines of red bled
while a crescendo of screams

hasn’t been reached
even today
for
rapid his ride
crashing through global streams.

Leaves

behind

bobble along
swift. Slow.

In time
our memories

recede.
Although, sorrow still flows…

***

How can we intercept
pain

intercede
it?

By any means?

***

Allow hands and hearts to help us mend.
Accept support from family and friends.

Take care to eat, sleep, exercise, drink
water. Think

of others

who too loved
your loved one.

Your care extend.

Talk
about them.
Do share.

To help ones endure
until

death
is
through…

And ‘life’ is repaired.

***

“And the last enemy,
death,

is to be brought to nothing.”

1 Cor. 15:26.

“He will swallow up death
forever,

And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah
will wipe away the tears
from all faces.

The reproach of his people

he will take away from all the earth,’

After ‘wickedness’ is erased.

“For Jehovah himself has spoken it.”
Isa. 25:8.

“And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes,
and death will be no more,

neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.

The former things
have passed away.”

Rev. 21:4.

A New World

will
this
old system

replace.

Based upon:
“the accurate knowledge
of the truth

that is according to
godly devotion

and is based on
a hope of the everlasting life

that God,

who cannot
lie,

promised long ago”.

Titus 1:1, 2.

***

“And I have hope toward God,
which hope these men also look forward to,

that there is going to be a resurrection
of both the righteous and the unrighteous.”

Acts 24:15.
