A ‘Popular Course’

“And Jehovah will be King
over all the earth.

In that day Jehovah will be one,
and his name one.’ Zech. 14:9.

Please: “Listen to my prayer
spoken without deceit.” Ps. 17:1.

I have wisely abandoned
hypocrisies’ seat–‘a popular course’
of which Jeremiah wrote.

At this appointed time
an appropriate quote:

“I paid attention and kept listening,
but the way they spoke

was not right.

Not a man repented
over his wickedness or asked,

‘What have I done?’

Each one

keeps returning
to the popular course,

like a horse
dashing into the battle.” Jer. 8:6.

For ‘righteousness’
not willing to fight.

Yet, I have come to know
that the victory will be won

only

by your anointed Son:

For: “There is none
like you
among the gods,

O Jehovah,

There are no works
like yours.

All the nations
that you made

Will come
and bow down before you,
O Jehovah,

And they will give glory
to your name.

For you are great
and do wondrous things;

You are God,

you alone.” Ps. 86:8-10.

“In the days of those kings

the God of heaven will set up a kingdom
that will never be destroyed.

And this kingdom

will not be passed on to any other people.

It will crush
and put an end

to all these kingdoms,

and it alone
will stand forever”. Dan. 2:44.

“After this I saw,
and look!

a great crowd,

which no man was able to number,

out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb,

dressed in white robes;

and there were palm branches in their hands.

And they keep shouting with a loud voice,
saying:

“Salvation we owe to our God,
who is seated on the throne,

and to the Lamb.” Rev. 7:9, 10.
