Our Company We Keep

“I will praise Jehovah,
who has given me advice.

Even during the night,
my innermost thoughts correct me.”

If among scoffers
we sit,

walk with or stand
on a path

with ‘sinners’–Not
‘acquitted’,

then
‘happiness’

will flee

‘Good’
counselors

will quit.

And so will your peace.
Displaced by rage.

Removal from your intimate space,
then tragically replaced–

Beauty
of
Unity and Harmony.
