A ‘Real’ Hope

“In the light of the living”
Planted. Solid.

Is where we could be
like a sequoia tree

with roots spread far
across vast plains, deserts

seeking ‘water’ to gain

when delving into our ‘beliefs’.
Thoughtfully. Yes, deeply.

Well-watered we can be.

Due to meditation
after each period
of in depth ‘personal’ study

as to ‘true’ concepts and creeds.

“In the light of the living”
Planted. Solid.

Is where we should be

with flesh to “become fresher
than in youth;”

and a “return to the days
of his youthful vigor.'”

Is what we could eternally see

After we entreat Jah
for His Fatherly mercy

and joyfully turn away
from further debilitating inequity.

Then one may be brought “back
from the pit,

So that he may be enlightened
with the light of life.”

And with ‘righteous ones’
to forever sit…

So we must quit saying:
‘I am pure, without transgression;
I am clean, without error.

But God finds reasons to oppose me;
He considers me his enemy”

bestowing tragedy and adversity.

“When under trial,
let no one say:

“I am being tried by God.”

For with evil things God
cannot be tried,

nor does he himself try anyone.”

Especially since: “God speaks
once and a second time,

But no one pays attention.”

Though His desire is:
“To turn a person away from wrongdoing
And to protect a man from pride.”

Causing hatred and dishonor
too horrible to frequently mention…

“In the light of the living”
Planted. Solid.

Is where we can be

Attached like a barnacle
on a ship’s frame

If we come to love ‘Theocracy’–

Rule by God’s Son
Ransomed for a reversal of ‘Democracy’
6, 000 years ago ‘selfishly’ spun…

Leaving us here on the brink
of complete annihilation
with hatred spread

through ‘centuries’ of lies

contrived to manipulate
for personal sovereignties…

Has man ever brought about
true peace and security?

Or are we sliding into further depravities?

Do we not as yet desire
to concede

individually:

We can eternally proceed

If

we separate ourselves
from systems designed
by the “god of this system of things”.

Therefore: “If, in fact,
the good news we declare
is veiled,

it is veiled
among those who are perishing,

among whom the god of this system of things
has blinded the minds of the unbelievers,

so that the illumination
of the glorious good news

about the Christ,
who is the image of God,

might not shine through.“

Yes: “the whole world
is lying in the power of the wicked one.”

Yet: “Great and wonderful
are your works,

Jehovah God,
the Almighty.

Righteous and true
are your ways,

King of eternity.

Who will not really fear you, Jehovah,
and glorify your name,

for you alone are loyal?

For all the nations will come
and worship before you,

because your righteous decrees
have been revealed.”
