earth’s crevices.

Hatred.

Bred.

Humanity

led

onto

battlefields

while
parties of picnickers

parked

parcels
of
crumpets and tea;

reclined
on grassy

inclines

to see

falling bodies

climbing

centuries;

peaking

during
‘enlightened’
times.

As

‘Liquid
Gold’s’
Still

Undersold.

While

onlooker’s

drinks

steeped deep

in
hypocrisy’s not
spilled

onto
magnificent hills…

Briefly

killed

light

by
gloom

consumed.

Prophesied:

“Sun

will be turned into darkness”
“moon

into blood

Before

the coming of the great
and awe-inspiring

day

of Jehovah.”
