Human Irony #5 Bizarre

Why
when ‘another’ mounts
life’s
balance bar
we lean in
with crooked finger
on chin
expecting
’10’
no less by far–
never
a miss;
yet,
in all our
‘professed’
‘intelligence’
and
‘ability’
upon our turn
on
life’s narrow beam
we
claim
‘imperfection’
in
‘remiss’.
‘Please dismiss!’
On this insist–
For
‘Recompense’
We scream
with our mouth widely
ajar…
Not for ‘correction’ or ‘direction’…
Just for ‘another’s’
absolute
perfection?
How humanly bizarre…
“Why, then, do you look at the straw in your brother’s eye but do not notice the rafter in your own eye?
Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Allow me to remove the straw from your eye,’ when look! a rafter is in your own eye?
Hypocrite! First remove the rafter from your own eye, and then you will see clearly how to remove the straw from your brother’s eye.” Matt. 7:3-5.
