‘On This Mountain’

‘Loyal love’

is spun as silken threads
glistening

dew

‘changing’
compliant

into liquid
from vapors

as ‘tempers’ drop,
cool down

to renew

as a faithful Son
provides a glorious reign;

admonished
his ‘meek’ and humble ones:

“Do not let your hearts be troubled.

Exercise faith in God;
exercise faith also in me.”

Implores–

express implicit loyalty
in One–a Father

deserving to be truly ‘adored’
since He gives so generously

our Sun
each day

allowing work or play

even while adversity
under a disobedient son
soars…

Given too a moon seen
eclipsed, partial, or blood

under which we spoon, sleep, exhume
patiently as we await His ‘Day’.

Allowed time ‘accurate knowledge’ of ‘truth
to glean…

For: “God is our refuge and strength,

A help that is readily found
in times of distress.

That is why we will not fear,

though the earth undergoes change,”
causing global duress.

“Though the mountains”
governments

“topple into the depths of the sea,

Though its waters roar and foam over,”
humanity

“Though the mountains rock
on account of its turbulence.”

We will show integrity

as our stars of brilliant night
literal

‘enlighten’
our pathways.

Not symbolically

Dropping
from elevated heights

because of ‘hopelessness’

while their monies
do not
bring further delight…

Their bodies to tragically ‘rot’
in common mankind’s

plot; a horrid ‘lot’ in our life…

Yet, we will demonstrate ‘loyalty
even if to fall ‘asleep’ in death for ‘brief’

In imitation of our Father
who is: “A refuge from the rainstorm,
And a shade from the heat.

When the blast of the tyrants is like a rainstorm against a wall” beating us… Their goal: Our defeat.

Yes!

“In this mountain

Jehovah of armies will make
for all the peoples

A banquet of rich dishes,
A banquet of fine wine,

Of rich dishes filled with marrow,
Of fine, filtered wine.

In this mountain
he will do away with the shroud
that is enveloping

all the peoples

And the covering that is woven
over all the nations.

He will swallow up death forever,

And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah

will wipe away the tears
from all faces.

The reproach of his people
he will take away

from all the earth,

For Jehovah himself
has spoken it.”

A “God,
who cannot lie”

like humans,
you can’t deny…

promised
long ago:

“In that day they will say:
“Look! This is our God!

We have hoped in him,
And he will save us.

This is Jehovah!

We have hoped in him.

Let us be joyful and rejoice
in the salvation by him.”

Our concentrated efforts is worth a try…

“For the hand of Jehovah will rest
on this mountain”.

Promises One
who will never die:

“Now to the King of eternity,

incorruptible, invisible,
the only God,

be honor and glory forever and ever.
Amen.”

On this mountain
the meek will be blessed!

AGAIN:

“Amen!”… Should be our cry.
