Most Celebrated

“When Jesus heard it, he said:

“This sickness is not meant to end in death,

but is for the glory of God,

so that the Son of God
may be glorified through it.” John 11:4.

“Do you recall
what was lovingly done
after Jesus resurrected
Martha and Mary’s brother,

the one called Lazarus–four days
tragically into semi-permanent death lunged?”

For did not Martha to Jesus convey
faith–“Martha said to him:

“I know he will rise in the resurrection
on the last day.”” John 11:24.

Yes, she too had “hope toward God,”
“that there is going to be a resurrection
of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” Acts 24:15.

In a time period future;
amazingly soon after Jehovah’s ‘day’.

No: “Do not be amazed at this,

for the hour is coming
in which all those in the memorial tombs
will hear his voice and come out,

those who did good things
to a resurrection of life,

and those who practiced vile things
to a resurrection of judgment.” John 5:28, 29.

Yes, prophesied: “Your dead will live.
My corpses will rise up.

Awake and shout joyfully,
You residents in the dust!

For your dew is as the dew of the morning,

And the earth will let those powerless in death
come to life.” Isa 26:19.

Not the ‘reborn’ or ‘rebirth’
of Jesus’s explanation to Nicodemus

of which all ‘chosen ones’
are considered ‘holy’
enduring until ‘crowned’
for their stalwart integrity.

Their faithful course.

Whereas, back to earth
for a youth-filled healthy stay for millions,
even billions,

although sorely missed
until they’d all return
from an unspecified time
in inactivity laid…

“For the living know that they will die,
but the dead know nothing at all,”

“for there is no work
nor planning nor knowledge
nor wisdom

in the Grave,

where you are going.” Eccl. 9:5.

Wages of sin paid: “For the wages sin pays
is death, but the gift God gives

is everlasting life
by Christ Jesus our Lord.” Rom. 6:23.

Yet, this ‘earthly’ resurrection hope mentioned,
of course, solely believed
until Jesus gave hope and knowledge

of a ‘little flock’ during his earthly visit conceived;

those who’d live with him in heaven
representing all sectors of mankind,
though many once too ‘unbelievers’

by Satan deceived,

to rule as kings and priests
until “the last enemy, death”

Christ would too slay…

Retrieved–mankind from imperfection and sin
to forever remain, if this be their desire.

Necessary, their hearts, from their Creator
never to stray…

So returning to Lazarus’ life replayed,
just what did Christ to an interested crowd say?

“Then Jesus, after groaning again within himself,
came to the tomb.

It was, in fact, a cave, and a stone was lying against it.

Jesus said: “Take the stone away.”” John 11:38, 39.

“So they took the stone away.
Then Jesus raised his eyes heavenward and said:

“Father, I thank you that you have heard me.

True, I knew that you always hear me;
but I spoke on account of the crowd standing around,
so that they may believe

that you sent me.”

When he had said these things,
he cried out with a loud voice: “Lazʹa·rus, come out!”

The man who had been dead
came out with his feet and hands bound with wrappings,

and his face was wrapped with a cloth.

Jesus said to them:
“Free him and let him go.”

Demonstrating how future resurrected one’s
life will be restored after his merciful voice heard…

Imagine the joy to be reverberated around our globe
onto waiting families grateful; bestowed.

As angels probably resounded in ecstasy
at Christ’s heavenly triumphant return

after his instructions to his disciples
in confusion delayed…

“Then Peter and the other disciple set out for the tomb.

The two of them began running together,
but the other disciple ran faster than Peter
and reached the tomb first.

Stooping forward,
he saw the linen cloths lying there,
but he did not go in.

Then Simon Peter also came, following him,
and he went into the tomb.

And he saw the linen cloths lying there.

The cloth that had been on his head
was not lying with the other cloth bands

but was rolled up in a place by itself.”

“Then the other disciple who had reached the tomb first also went in,

and he saw and believed.
(The women.)

For they did not yet understand the scripture
that he must rise from the dead.

So the disciples went back to their homes.” John 20:3-10.

But imagine, Jesus’ previous words to Lazarus
to come out… His Father’s voice
saying the same?… Just called out his name.

One thing I believe without a doubt–His angelic brothers
receiving a command to release him from his binding cloths, like Jesus’ of Lazarus did demand;

to welcome and encourage him after his victory
stands on record…

What a glorious shout of praise
occurring in heaven for proving the devil a liar…

Maintained, a perfect man, perfect integrity;
unlike Adam, causing his progeny untold misery…

A Homecoming
unlike any other known
blown out in that celestial holy dimension…

Though, that occasion not necessarily to be
The Most Celebrated In Any History…

For, decrees Jehovah:

“And I will certainly magnify myself and sanctify myself and make myself known

before the eyes of many nations;

and they will have to know

that I am
Jehovah.’”

Ezekiel 38:23.

Mark 10:29, 30

29  Jesus said: “Truly I say to you, no one has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for my sake and for the sake of the good news 30  who will not get 100 times more now in this period of time*—houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and fields, with persecutions—and in the coming system of things, everlasting life.

Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?​—1 Cor. 15:55.

God inspired some of Jesus’ disciples in the first century to write about the heavenly hope. The apostle John explained: “We are now children of God, but it has not yet been made manifest what we will be. We do know that when he is made manifest we will be like him.” (1 John 3:2) So anointed Christians do not know what they will be like when they are raised to heaven with spirit bodies. However, they will see Jehovah when they receive their reward. The Bible provides some information about it. The anointed will be with Christ when he brings “to nothing all government and all authority and power.” That includes “the last enemy, death.” Finally, Jesus​—along with his corulers—​will subject himself and all things to Jehovah. (1 Cor. 15:24-28) What a climax that will be! w20.12 8 ¶2
