Into Eternity (contest – Where are you Going? – Picture Prompt – Patterson-Mooney)

Creased in a corner of a golden soft chenille sofa seat taking on a wind increasing in speed; whipping in sheers with rain’s aroma long ago sprung. Maybe once gentle begun; almost sweet

With wine bottle in hand, my memory steeped in revelries of ancient lands. Of multi-plans… A purpose not man’s; not completely replete until a perfect kingdom comes to wickedness defeat…Justice demand. Like then. But this time no rainbow needed. His will to eternally stand.

Though, I am really beat; beaten… No one understands what life has caused me to swallow… All this pain I’ve eaten… I am lead, yet hollow… ‘Hope’ shallow… ‘Faith’ weakened as the phone, TV, computer spins tales. Swells with rebels… And this is not the worst… My heart leaks in depletion with all the ‘lies’ exhaled. The global excretions… Mainly one prophesy soon to be expelled, fulfilled, to create an international veil:

“Whenever it is that they are saying, “Peace and security!” then sudden destruction is to be instantly on them, just like birth pains on a pregnant woman, and they will by no means escape.”… This I know… But how will I prevail?… My sail has dropped long ago… I await the hail:

“Have you entered the storehouses of the snow, or have you seen the storehouses of the hail, which I have reserved for the time of distress,

For the day of battle and war?”

***

“Pay attention to yourselves that your hearts never become weighed down with overeating and heavy drinking and anxieties of life, and suddenly that day be instantly upon you as a snare.

For it will come upon all those dwelling on the face of the whole earth.

Keep awake, then, all the time making supplication that you may succeed in escaping all these things that must occur and in standing before the Son of man.”

“Work, not for the food that perishes, but for the food that remains for everlasting life, which the Son of man will give you; for on this one the Father, God himself, has put his seal of approval.”prose and rhyme 30 lines
