I do believe, Father
that you have faith in me.
Faith that your holy spirit
will enable me to succeed.
I know your purpose,
with or without me will proceed,
but you drew my heart
with your love and loyalty.
Whole-souled devotion
to you is deservedly required.
Your law in my heart
with zeal ardent desired.
I do respect your authority
to confer upon shoulders
responsibilities faithful
to imperfect men undeserved.
For, I like them must study and pray
to eternal in your service integrity display.
I well know Jehovah You are “the true God,
the faithful God,” as Moses did say:
“keeping his covenant and loyal love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.
But those who hate him he will repay to their face with destruction.
He will not be slow to deal with those who hate him; he will repay them to their face.” Deu. 7:9-11.
Yet, to those who love You whole-heartedly
with a Father’s tenderness, you give us peace of mind to cope with crippling anxieties draining our joy each day
by telling us what we need do
as humans to eternal stay.
O’ how dark that moment
when they killed your only-begotten Son.
The greatest sacrifice both You and He made
to ensure Your Will on earth be done.
And now He is reigning upon His honored throne
and You allow each of us to wonderfully serve You alone.
O’ I do believe, Father
that you have faith in me.
Faith that your holy spirit
will enable me to succeed.
But every day I hear the news
and for humanity, my heart rips then bleeds.
When I see how heartless your creation has become
under the wicked rulership of your hateful son
there exists a war in me
vengeance to overcome.
I do believe, Father
that you have faith in me.
Faith that your holy spirit
will enable me to succeed
to focus on Your main quality:
Love. Greatest in You, indeed.
For daily you see everything terrible
occurring in your land.
But you consider providing miracles
to help our minds and hearts expand:
little ants to turn the soil
butterflies to beautify
rain and sun for food and fun
yet a majority still now go their way
to selfishness succumb.
But today, Father
I do pray
that concerned about myself
I will stay.
No judge or jury
which does not to me belong
and which steals my joy of heart
which you encourage to be filled with song.
I will focus on things upbuilding of my faith
and meditate on loyal ones of old and new
to help me keep my pace.
For I know that Your Will
will take place and soon
all evil your Son will totally erase.
Then as prophesied:
“Your dead will live.
My corpses will rise up.
Awake and shout joyfully,
You residents in the dust!
For your dew is as the dew of the morning,
And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life.” Isa. 26:19.
Yes, “From the power of the Grave I will redeem them;
From death I will recover them.
Where are your stings, O Death?
Where is your destructiveness, O Grave?” Hosea 13:14.
Spoken about the Christ who paid the price
so that obedient mankind can receive an eternal reward either heavenly or earthly according to your purpose
for following this advice:
“This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.” John 17:3.
Yes, I do believe, Father
that you have faith in me.
Faith that your holy spirit
will enable me to succeed.
This day forward
in my life
let your spirit and not me
in wisdom
lead.
