An Expected Tragic Deathblow?

Jah Jehovah,
You are
by majestically far
the most brilliant mind
I or anyone can know.
Your exquisite creations
minute to great
fantastically shows…
a snowflake
an earthquake
a firefly
how fiery lava flows.
Whirlpools.
Geysers.
Northern lights.
Wise words ancient bestowed.
Your heart
is like the sun to us–
warms us
‘just’ enough
to keep us living,
growing,
loving,
forgiving,
by glorious rays
presented as ‘gifts’
consistently
though the ‘haughty’
your works
arrogantly rebuff
with ungrateful
actions
greedily
creating an environment
causing an exterior
on interiors
called
‘callus’
‘rough’ or
‘tough’.
However, in you
many are
instilled to ‘trust’–
as that bright
full ‘faithful’ moon
glowing
during increasingly turbulent nights
aplenty.
We are seeds
sown under immense adversity,
so we must petition you:
Water us through-in-through
by your intense fatherly pleasure
with ‘truths’ to protect us
even as we whither to death.
Seemingly
‘hopeless’
beyond lamentable measure.
Bring us back
in spring.
Resurrect us
with a newness
to now set our imaginations
into being–
afire…Aglow.
Remind us of your purpose
with profound ‘pearls’
sought and purchased
as ‘priceless’ treasures
to endure
our varied woes.

“Your dead will live.
My corpses will rise up.
Awake and shout joyfully,
You residents in the dust!
For your dew
is as the dew of the morning,
And the earth
will let those powerless in death
come to life.” Isa. 26:19.
***
Let not
‘hatred’
deal humankind
an expected
tragic
deathblow…
