How I Am Born Though by Many Scorned

On high
in the highest skies,
I abide with my cronies,
chillin’
I will not lie…
in
atmosphere
cold as ‘ice’
needed…
Happy
not to be called upon
‘at will’
for then we know
that
‘laws’ and ‘principles’
are being righteously heeded…
‘Vows’
fulfilled…
But loyalty calls upon us
at times
during thunderous rains
which send drops into our freezing domain
spinning
in and out
of
updrafts
again and again
accumulating
until too heavy
to remain…
Ousted downwards
as balls to cause pain…
Ouch!… I am sorry
if for some reason
you were outside detained…
We realize that you hate to see us appear.
But we do what’s called upon in nature
when supercooled water drops arrive into our airy home–
we to them as droplets just naturally
want to adhere–
convert into hailstones
of which everyone understandably fears…
Though,
sometimes we are actually assigned
to pummel those ‘arrogant’ of humankind
as done in the days of Moses, or Joshua,
when upon enemies of Jehovah,
I am called to remind…
Matter-of-fact,
prophesied
my great family
to worldwide soon arrive:
“Have you entered the storehouses of the snow,
Or have you seen the storehouses of the hail,
Which I have reserved for the time of distress,
For the day of battle and war?”
Job 38:22, 23.
But you need not worry
for
our Creator Jah
has made a way out for ‘obedient’ mankind
to
survive
stated clear:
“For
“everyone
who calls
on the name
of Jehovah
will be saved.”
***
“However,
how will they call on him
if they have not put faith in him?
How, in turn,
will they put faith in him
about whom they have not heard?
How, in turn,
will they hear without someone to preach?
How, in turn,
will they preach
unless they have been sent out?
Just as it is written:
“How beautiful are the feet of those
who declare good news
of good things!”
Rom. 10:12-15.
***
So as hailstones
we beseech you, dear:
On the day of Jah’s fury
confine yourselves
when informed–
forget haughtiness and pride:
“Go,
my people,
enter your inner rooms,
And shut your doors behind you.
Hide yourself
for a brief moment
Until
the wrath has passed by.”
***
“With his pinions he will cover you,
And under his wings you will take refuge.
His faithfulness will be a large shield
and a protective wall.”
Ps. 91:4.
Then:
“the wolf will actually reside
for a while with the male lamb,
and with the kid the leopard itself will lie down,
and the calf and the maned young lion
and the well-fed animal all together;
and a mere little boy will be leader over them.
And the cow and the bear themselves will feed;
together their young ones will lie down.
And even the lion will eat straw just like the bull.
And the sucking child will certainly play upon the hole of the cobra; and upon the light aperture of a poisonous snake will a weaned child actually put his own hand.
They will not do any harm or cause any ruin
in all my holy mountain;
because the earth
will certainly be filled
with the knowledge of Jehovah
as the waters are covering the very sea.“

How Hailstones Are Formed
“Hail,” says the book Weather, “is the peculiar product of large, turbulent thunderclouds.” When cloud droplets condense on tiny nuclei in thunderclouds, they are sometimes caught in strong updrafts, which sweep them into higher freezing parts of the cloud. In these freezing temperatures, other droplets condense on the embryonic raindrop and instantly freeze. This process is repeated again and again, with the frozen raindrop traveling up and down into and out of the frozen layer. Each time, the frozen raindrop is gathering a new layer of ice, getting heavier and heavier, gaining layers like those of an onion. Eventually, it gets so heavy that it overcomes the updrafts of air in the cloud and falls to earth as the solid, icy hailstone we know. “On occasions,” says Atmosphere, Weather and Climate, “hailstones may reach giant size, weighing up to 0.76 kg [1.68 pounds] each.” © an hour ago, Lucretia McCloud death • hope • love • pain • society • teen
