The FIGHT (Contest / The Fight)

“And I will give you
shepherds after my own heart,

and they will feed you
with
knowledge and insight.“
Jer. 3:15.

“When they had finished breakfast,
(the resurrected)
Jesus said to Simon Peter:

“Simon son of John,
do you love me more than these?”

(Being a fishermen,
he spoke of fishes,
indeed.) He replied to him:
“Yes, Lord,
you know I have affection for you.

He said to him:
“Feed my lambs.””

To these words
‘true’
shepherds give heed:

“Pay attention to yourselves
and to all the flock,
… to shepherd the congregation of God,

which he purchased
with the blood

of his own Son.“
Acts 20:28.

So:
“Shepherd the flock of God
under your care,

serving
as
overseers,

not under compulsion,

but willingly
before God;

not for love of dishonest gain,

but eagerly;

not lording it over those
who are God’s inheritance,

but

becoming examples to the flock.“
1 Peter 5:2, 3.

AGood evening and its new contest time ! Today I am giving you just 2 words

THE FIGHT .

All I want is a poem based on those two words , It can be based on personal experience , An unhappy relationship , A fight you have witnessed , Use of imagination or inspiration , anything ! I have just 1 rule ,

1, YOUR WORK MUST BE TITLED ‘THE FIGHT’ .
