Simply divine:

Delightfully scenic mountains and glens
to climb.
Winding rivers, crystal streams and lakes
add to its beauty–

a lovely countryside

as a gentleness
towards

Life

should we be inclined…

As
cored in love
with
patience plus kind
we
peel
back
like onion skins–
brutal,
unkind.

For virtues refined
benefit oneself

by killing stress
with calmness of mind…

Loving your neighbor
as yourself.

Not unrealistic

when determined to progress
into an enduring happiness…

There it exists,
you can successfully
it find

when
pitted to abhor

what is detrimental

to one’s
tranquil

state-of-mind:

“A calm heart gives life (or health) to the body,
But jealousy is rottenness to the bones.”
Prov. 14:30.

“Who among you takes pleasure in life
And would love to see many good days?

Then guard your tongue from what is bad,
Your lips from speaking deception.

Turn away from what is bad and do what is good;
Seek peace and pursue it.”

For,

“The eyes of Jehovah are on the righteous,

But the face of Jehovah is against those doing what is bad,

To erase all memory of them from the earth.”
