‘The Most High’ Will Have His Way

“That is why justice is far away from us,
And righteousness does not overtake us.

We keep hoping for light,
but look! there is darkness;

For brightness,
but we keep walking in gloom.

We grope for the wall like blind men;
Like those without eyes we keep groping.

We stumble at high noon
as in evening darkness;

Among the strong
we are just like the dead.”
 Isa. 59:9, 10.

***

‘Heavens’

above our earthly sphere
of blues and greens
beheld
in exquisite beauty,… still
dear,

clearly,

held galaxies and shooting stars,
our sun and moon, of which we are
grateful–

There distance perfect… Not too close.

Just enough…
far:

“Lift up your eyes to heaven and see.
Who has created these things?

It is the One who brings out their army by number;
He calls them all by name.

Because of his vast dynamic energy and his awe-inspiring power,

Not one of them is missing.”
 Isa. 40:26.

And our earth?

Established for an eternity:

“The righteous will possess the earth,
And they will live forever on it.”
 Ps. 37:29.

Though, exist ‘heavens’ in our sphere
not ‘righteously’ adorned….Thunderous
their ‘reigns’

causing mankind to quiver in hatred and scorn…

Since upon their thoughts
violence is insisting.

Why necessary, as in ancient past,
Jah these to mercifully warn:

Come close to hear, you nations,
And pay attention, you peoples.

Let the earth and that which fills it listen,
The land and all its produce.

For Jehovah’s indignation is against all the nations,
And his wrath is against all their army.

He will devote them to destruction;
He will give them to the slaughter.

Their slain will be thrown out,
And the stench of their carcasses will ascend;

The mountains
will melt because of their blood.”

(Yes, our ‘Mountainlike’ kingdoms
accountable will be for innocent blood shed shamelessly.)

“For: All the army of the heavens will rot away,
And the heavens will be rolled up like a scroll.

All their army will wither away,
As a withered leaf falls from the vine
And a shriveled fig from the fig tree.
 Isa. 34:1-4.

Reaching the final page of their history:
“and mountains were not found.” Rev. 16:20.

“I will cause distress to mankind,
And they will walk like blind men,

Because it is against Jehovah they have sinned.

Their blood will be poured out like dust,
And their flesh like the dung.”
 “Zeph. 1:17.

***

Therefore decreed:

“Honor the son,
or God will become indignant
And you will perish from the way,

For His anger flares up quickly.

Happy are all those taking refuge in Him.”

“So now, you kings,
show insight;

Accept correction,
you judges of the earth.

Serve Jehovah with fear,
And rejoice with trembling.”
 Ps. 2:10-12.

Repent
as previously heard and seen:

“O Jehovah,
to us belongs shame,
to our kings, our princes, and our forefathers,

because we have sinned against you.”
 Dan. 9:8.

“For the scripture says:
“No one who rests his faith on him will be disappointed.”

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek.

There is the same Lord over all, who is rich toward all those calling on him.

For “everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah
will be saved.””
 Rom. 10:11-13.

***

Though sadly this vision for a majority foreseen:

“Those who turn away from following Jehovah
And who do not seek Jehovah or inquire of him.”

Be silent before the Sovereign Lord Jehovah,
for the day of Jehovah is near.

Jehovah has prepared a sacrifice;
he has sanctified those he invited.

“On the day of Jehovah’s sacrifice I will call to account the princes,

The sons of the king,

and all those wearing foreign clothing.

I will call to account everyone who climbs onto the platform on that day”.

“And I will call to account the complacent ones,
who say in their heart,

‘Jehovah will not do good,
and he will not do bad.’

Their wealth will be plundered and their houses will be devastated.

They will build houses,
but they will not occupy them;

And they will plant vineyards,
but they will not drink wine from them.

The great day of Jehovah is near!
It is near and it is approaching very quickly!

The sound of the day of Jehovah is bitter.
There a warrior cries out.

That day is a day of fury,
A day of distress and anguish,

A day of storm and desolation,
A day of darkness and gloom,

A day of clouds and thick gloom”.
 Zeph. 1:6-9, 12-15.

““‘And those slain by Jehovah in that day will be from one end of the earth clear to the other end of the earth. They will not be mourned, nor will they be gathered up or buried. They will become like manure on the surface of the ground.’” Jer. 25:33.

No, these ‘heavens’ will no longer sway
mankind away from a loving living Creator
who will soon have his ‘day’

like in the time of an arrogant Pharaoh
who refused to acknowledge Jehovah
and what He had to say.

Into the Red Sea with his army.
in death to lay!

Jehovah
Will again have… His Way.

“Yours, O Jehovah, are the greatness and the mightiness and the beauty and the splendor and the majesty,

for everything in the heavens and on the earth is yours.

Yours is the kingdom,
O Jehovah.

You are the One exalting yourself as head over all.”
 1 Chron. 29:11.

Your sins have been forgiven.—1 John 2:12.

What relief that thought brings to us! As King of God’s Kingdom, Jesus will undo any damage Satan and his system may inflict on us. (Isa. 65:17; 1 John 3:8; Rev. 21:3, 4) What hope that inspires in us! And even though Jesus has given us a challenging assignment, he is with us, supporting us through the last days of this system. (Matt. 28:19, 20) What courage that builds in us! Relief, hope, and courage—these are some of the solid foundation stones on which our peace of mind is built. How, then, can you retain your peace of mind when you are shaken by severe trials? You can do so by imitating the things Jesus did. First, pray and persist in prayer. Second, obey Jehovah and preach zealously even when it is difficult to do so. And third, look to your friends to help you through trials. Then the peace of God will guard your mind and heart. (Phil. 4:6, 7) And like Jesus, you will conquer any trial.—John 16:33. w19.04 13 ¶16-17 © 15 minutes ago, Lucretia McCloud    hope • love • death • christian • teen • society
