High Crimes

Written because of an event in Lakeland, Florida on 9/5/2021

“Blessings are on the head of the righteous one,
But the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.”

“When the wicked sprout like weeds
(Or “grass.”)
And all the wrongdoers flourish,

It is that they may be annihilated forever.”

“Do you too wonder: Who’s to blame
as shots ping out to parent’s shame
as red brings blue to black again
to mount like military ‘hills’ of honored names?…

In whose hands are held cold keys
as violence spins our globe in various degrees
of insanity or iniquity?

Are we ‘personally’ accountable
if we purchase or place in our progeny’s hand
videos that span a scope of high demand–

sharp shooters, rapists, auto theft grand?

Can we command them as to what is ‘acceptable’–
This is only what you should do with this knowledge
of skill pursued?… Shoot only when told to kill
this uniform or animal at our determined will?

How does one control the mind set to point and shoot
to the space of less than a dime placed upon a heart or head
pinpointed by laser or light white or red
to burst an organ by a ‘higher being’ bred?

Who’s at fault when a trigger is pulled?
Must one always need to review whether drugs were involved
or was medicine due as caring for others out window flew
for flag to fly over territories’ considered ‘old’ or ‘new’?

It is not for ‘us’ to say
who is really at fault in each and every way
for time rewinds back to that fateful day
when Adam ate to offspring ‘slay’

and Satan for a time has gotten his way
to show ‘self-rule’ can not delay death… so everyone
pays this wage

whether ‘naturally’ through old-age
or speedily through ‘rampage’, pestilence,
or working fingers to the bone
without benefit of minimum wage.

Accountability
‘true’
is long overdue…

So a day of terror approaches fast like a bullet
upon a white horse with ‘justice’ in view.

Prophesied God’s point-of-view:

“Look! The days are coming,” declares Jehovah, “when I will raise up to David a righteous sprout.

And a king will reign and show insight and uphold justice and righteousness in the land.”

“And he will find delight in the fear of Jehovah.

He will not judge by what appears to his eyes,
Nor reprove simply according to what his ears hear.

He will judge the lowly with fairness,

And with uprightness he will give reproof in behalf of the meek ones of the earth.

He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth
And put the wicked to death with the breath of his lips.”

“Then, indeed, the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will do away with by the spirit of his mouth and bring to nothing by the manifestation of his presence.”

“‘I will call for a sword against him (Gog of Magog)
on all my mountains,’ declares the Sovereign Lord Jehovah.

‘Every man’s sword will be against his own brother.

I will bring my judgment against him with pestilence
and bloodshed;

and I will rain down a torrential downpour and hailstones and fire and sulfur on him and on his troops and on the many peoples with him.

And I will certainly magnify myself and sanctify myself and make myself known before the eyes of many nations;

and they will have to know

that I am Jehovah.’”

“In that day

confusion from Jehovah
will be widespread among them;

and each one will grab hold of the hand of his companion, and his hand will come against the hand of his companion.*”

Or “and one man will attack another.”

Is what we are seeing ‘preparation’ for that coming day of vengeance where only those who “call upon the name of Jehovah” will remain–have opportunity to eternal stay?

“At that time his voice shook the earth,
but now he has promised:

“Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heaven.”

Now the expression “yet once more” indicates the removal of the things that are shaken, things that have been made, in order that the things not shaken may remain.”
