Not Yet Too Late

Eons ago,
Abraham thought
He ought to question Jah
about righteous judgments
fought for:
“It is unthinkable
that you would act in this manner
by putting the righteous man to death
with the wicked one
so that the outcome for the righteous man
and the wicked is the same!
It is unthinkable of you.
Will the Judge of all the earth
not do what is right?”
To fight in conversation
for a city in which Lot was commanded:
Immediately take flight—
Sodom and Gomorrah.
Upon God’s land a horrendous blight.
Not even today in visible sight.
The angels arrived at Abraham’s nephew’s house
and Lot provided protection during the night
from the boy’s and men’s demands… Struck with blindness
they still attempted
with stubborn might to Lot also pillage
for expressing horror
for his guest’s honor.
But upon daylight
Admonished to flee to safety!… Do not delay!
From powerful angels given the command:
Don’t look back!
For any previous delights.
Today we stand upon a time
when Jah will judge again
by His standards divine.
Yet, he allows a turn around
in heart and mind.
He wants his children to be
righteously inclined.
So, Jah has definitely
set a date.
Should we not respond
before it’s stated …
“Oh no! . . . Too late?”
Gen. 18, 19

Archaeologists: Sodom and Gomorrah literally destroyed by fire, brimstone falling from the sky
The article mentions ‘eternal fire’ which the bible labels ‘second death’ or eternal destruction. . . Not eternal torment which is not consistent with a God of love. . . © an hour ago, Lucretia McCloud death • pain • sad • society • spiritual • teen
