Impossible? . . . No. Not an Obstacle

When Babylon had birthed her gardens,
a wonderment to a global earth…

When she gathered nations under her girth
foreseen as a gigantic tree in vision dreamed
from a famous king…

When he himself took too much pride in his conquestial being…

Did not ring out this prophecy
exact in details not heard of; unseen:

A Persian ruler…not yet born,

but prophesied in being a conqueror
of the great nation Babylon… Even as to
how it would be done.

Who had heard of such a precise uttering?

“This is what Jehovah says to his anointed one, to Cyrus,

Whose right hand I have taken hold of
To subdue nations before him,

To disarm kings,
To open before him the double doors,

So that the gates will not be shut:”

“I am calling you by your name.

I am giving you a name of honor, although you did not know me.

I am Jehovah,
and there is no one else.

There is no God except me.

I will strengthen you,
although you did not know me,
In order that people may know

From the rising of the sun to its setting
That there is none besides me.”

“The One saying to the deep waters,
‘Be evaporated,

And I will dry up all your rivers’”.

Yes! A man named Cyrus would conquer Babylon and free the Jews.​

Yes! The Euphrates River would dry up, opening the way for Cyrus’ army.​

Yes! The city gates would be left open.​

And Babylon’s military would ‘cease to fight.’

With the ‘handwriting on the wall’ it happened
according to our modern calendar, on the night of October 5/6, 539 B.C.E.

Well documented, not just in Persian history.

Also, years later–70…another unheard of:
released from Babylonian slavery, Jews returned to Jerusalem to rebuild, while Babylon’s sudden defeat to many remained a complete mystery…

Yet to believers in God’s Word this is testified accuracy of God’s sayings to make unbelievers see why they should give credence to an upcoming defeat of international nations treating Jah’s people with contempt. Being mislead by a demon Satan on everyone’s annihilation bent:

“So the dragon became enraged at the woman

(Jehovah’s heavenly organization of faithful angels.)

and went off to wage war with the remaining ones of her offspring,

who observe the commandments of God and have the work of bearing witness concerning Jesus.”

So know: “From the rising of the sun
to its setting

That there is none besides me.

I am Jehovah, and there is no one else.

I form light
and create darkness,

I make peace
and create calamity;

I, Jehovah, am doing all these things.

You heavens,
rain down from above;

Let the clouds pour down righteousness.
Let the earth open up and be fruitful with salvation,
And let it cause righteousness to spring up at the same time.

I, Jehovah, have created it.”

“Woe to the one who contends with his Maker,
For he is just an earthenware fragment
Among the other earthenware fragments lying on the ground!”

Yes!….”‘This is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah says:

“Wail, ‘Alas, the day is coming!’

Epoch Making–This Prophecy:

“Look!
The day of Jehovah
is coming,

Cruel both with fury and with burning anger,

To make the land an object of horror,
And to annihilate the land’s sinners from it.

For the stars of the heavens and their constellations”–Governmental in nature,

“Will not give off their light;

The sun will be dark when it rises,
And the moon will not shed its light.

I will call the inhabited earth to account for its badness,

And the wicked for their error.

I will put an end to the pride of the presumptuous,
And I will humble the haughtiness of tyrants.

I will make mortal man scarcer than refined gold,
And humans scarcer than the gold of Oʹphir.

That is why I will make the heavens tremble,
And the earth will be shaken out of its place

At the fury of Jehovah of armies in the day of his burning anger.”

As done to Sodom and Gomorrah, Babylon, and others… Eliminated forever from everyone’s sight!

All prophesied and to be fulfilled to all righteous one’s Universal and eternal delight…

“But all those taking refuge in you will rejoice;
To time indefinite they will cry out joyfully.

And you will block approach to them,
And those loving your name will exult in you.

For you yourself will bless anyone righteous,
O Jehovah;

As with a large shield,
with approval you will surround them.”
