‘Seasons of Refreshing’ (contest Happy Endings – Sam Sampson)
Has it not become pellucid
transparent as jellyfish at sea
which existed long before dinosaurs
on our earth– speculated more than
500 million years ago…
‘Sea jellies’
learned
not fish,
themselves
once a complete mystery,
that light
is needed
in the vast darkness of our clay ocean
of mortal humanity?
Eliminated misinformation–
like on a jelly’s sting to pee
to relieve pain temporarily,
then hopefully
permanently.
Then enlightened,
as the Turritopsis dohrnii,
we may strive to be
a younger version of ourselves
deligently
not just through diet, exercise,
medicine, plastic surgery–
since, rewound
our life cycle
is only accomplished
by accepting clear direction
and loving our Creator
Whole-heartedly…”
“Now look!
a man versed in the Law stood up to test him and said:
“Teacher, what do I need to do to inherit everlasting life?”
He said to him: “What is written in the Law? How do you read?”
In answer he said:
“‘You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole strength and with your whole mind’
and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’”
He said to him: “You answered correctly; keep doing this and you will get life.””
“This means everlasting life,
their coming to know you, the only true God,
and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.”
Yes, the “times of restoration of all things”
those educated in ‘truth’ will wondrously see
“Seasons of refreshing” meant for our tottering earth–
Both of man: “Now all the earth continued to be of one language and of one set of words.”
And of our globe: “But the earth had become ruined in the sight of the true God, and the earth was filled with violence.”
A cleansing gloriouly foretold:
“But the nations became wrathful, and your own wrath came,
and the appointed time came for the dead to be judged
and to reward your slaves the prophets and the holy ones and those fearing your name,
the small and the great,
and to bring to ruin those ruining the earth.”
For: “there are new heavens
and a new earth
that we are awaiting according to his promise,
and in these
righteousness is to dwell.”

Let your Kingdom come.
Let your will take place,
as in heaven,
also on earth.”
