‘The Last Days’?
But the name of the wicked will rot.” Prov. 10:7.
*
Famous King Solomon of Israel said:
“All of this I have seen,
and I applied my heart to every work that has been done under the sun, during the time that man has dominated man to his harm.” Eccl. 8:9… After independence from their Creator they desired, then chose instead.
Slavery to various nations and kings
is where God’s servants’ constant disobedience rebelliously led.
Yet, time and again, Jah’s mercy did refine those whose hearts became righteously inclined…
“The word that came to Jeremiah from Jehovah after King Zed·e·kiʹah had made a covenant with all the people in Jerusalem to proclaim liberty to them,
that everyone should free his Hebrew slaves, male and female, so that no one would keep a fellow Jew as his slave.” Jer. 34:8, 9.
“Pleasing to Jehovah?”
“To remove the fetters of wickedness,
To untie the bands of the yoke bar,
To let the oppressed go free,
And to break in half every yoke bar;
It is to share your bread with the hungry,
To bring the poor and homeless into your house,
To clothe someone naked when you see him,
And not to turn your back on your own flesh.
Then your light will shine through like the dawn,
And your healing will spring up quickly.
Your righteousness will go before you,
And the glory of Jehovah will be your rear guard.
Then you will call, and Jehovah will answer;
You will cry for help, and he will say, ‘Here I am!’
If you remove from among you the yoke bar
And stop pointing your finger and speaking maliciously,
If you grant to the hungry what you yourself desire
And satisfy those who are afflicted,
Then your light will shine even in the darkness,
And your gloom will be like midday.
Jehovah will always lead you
And satisfy you even in a parched land;
He will invigorate your bones,
And you will become like a well-watered garden,
Like a spring whose waters never fail.” Isa. 58:5, 6-11.

We are again living in a similar time… However, slavery to wickedness will not automatically decline.
But the Almighty Divine promises to remove it indefinitely from our earth, promised to a meek, humble
cultivated mind:
“Hope in Jehovah and follow his way,
And he will exalt you to take possession of the earth.
When the wicked are done away with,
you will see it.”
“Take note of the blameless one,
And keep the upright one in sight,
For the future of that man will be peaceful.
But all the transgressors will be destroyed;
The future of wicked people will be cut off.
The salvation of the righteous is from Jehovah;
He is their fortress in the time of distress.
Jehovah will help them and rescue them.
He will rescue them from the wicked and save them,
Because they take refuge in him.” Ps. 37:34; 37-40.
For “Jehovah knows how to rescue people of godly devotion out of trial,
but to reserve unrighteous people to be destroyed on the day of judgment,
especially those who seek to defile the flesh of others and who despise authority.” 2 Pe. 2:9, 10.
“Happy is the man who does not walk according to the advice of the wicked
And does not stand on the path of sinners
And does not sit in the seat of scoffers.
But his delight is in the law of Jehovah,
And he reads His law in an undertone day and night.
He will be like a tree planted by streams of water,
A tree that produces fruit in its season,
The foliage of which does not wither.
And everything he does will succeed.
The wicked are not like that;
They are like the chaff that the wind blows away.
That is why the wicked will not remain standing in the judgment; Nor will sinners remain standing in the assembly of the righteous.
For Jehovah is aware of the way of the righteous,
But the way of the wicked will perish.” Ps. 1:1-6.
Centuries ago… Foretold boldly for those living in our day of precious prophecy:
“You have rebuked nations and destroyed the wicked,
Blotting out their name forever and ever.” Ps. 9:5…
That day is fast approaching for the young and old to soon see.
Let’s not lose sight, by being side-tracked by disasters, the mundane, or even daily anxieties, from the Greatest Day Fulfilled To Be!…
We are living in the ‘Last Days’
of mankind’s wicked society!

Grief and sighing will flee away.—Isa. 35:10.
God foretold through Isaiah that after His people returned to their homeland, they would not have to struggle against harsh, dangerous elements; nor would they need to fear attacks from animals or beastlike men. Young and old would be safe. (Isa. 11:6-9; 35:5-10; 51:3) Isaiah also said that the whole earth—not just the nation of Israel—would “be filled with the knowledge of Jehovah as the waters cover the sea.” Isaiah further emphasized that the returnees would not be threatened by animals or humans. Their land would produce abundant fruit, made possible by an ample supply of water, even as the garden of Eden was well-watered. (Gen. 2:10-14; Jer. 31:12) Would that be the only fulfillment? There is no evidence that those returning from exile were miraculously cured. For example, the blind did not regain their sight. So God was indicating that literal healings would yet occur. w18.12 5 ¶11-12
