Peace & Security . . . From What Source?

Peace & Security . . . From What Source?

“So we should no longer be children, tossed about as by waves and carried here and there by every wind of teaching by means of the trickery of men, by means of cunning in deceptive schemes.” Eph. 4:14.

*

Many men have ‘had a dream’:

A fabulous future of united global beings
living as a ‘functional family’ in which real love flourishes abundantly in tended gardens provided rain and shine brought upon it in rotating springs;

blossoming:
‘Blanket,’ or ‘Bell’ flowers,
Buttercups,’ or ‘Bachelor’s buttons,’

interspersed with ‘Begonias’ held in ‘Baby’s breath’.

Even ‘Bleeding hearts’ climb trestles to boundaries upset.

Yet, death overtook many of these visionaries by violent means.

It seems violence is the ‘river red’ that streams ahead as rapids amid loud moans and piercing screams.

Even peaceful protests left mounds as hills
where ‘laid to rest’ ended these visions of loveliness:

A unity. A brotherhood. An equality and justice for human beings.

*

But, hearing, heard or to be spread
a phrase that rings the bell of hope,

though from this source
not for the dead:

‘Peace and Security’

has been or will be said.

A promise that messes with hearts and heads
as… accomplished by man

with ‘full steam ahead’?

*

True ‘Peace and Security’ will be attained!

Just not by imperfect men
in their manipulative games.

So when mankind steps onto the platform to make this ‘bogus’ proclaim,

know that ‘sudden destruction’ will claim the lives of the masses

who did not call upon His Glorious name:

“Whenever it is that they are saying, “Peace and security!” then sudden destruction is to be instantly on them, just like birth pains on a pregnant woman, and they will by no means escape.” 1 Thess. 5:3.

“For the scripture says:

“No one who rests his faith on him will be disappointed.”

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek.

There is the same Lord over all, who is rich toward all those calling on him.

For “everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved.”

However, how will they call on him if they have not put faith in him? How, in turn, will they put faith in him about whom they have not heard? How, in turn, will they hear without someone to preach? 15 How, in turn, will they preach unless they have been sent out?

Just as it is written:

“How beautiful are the feet of those who declare good news of good things!”” Romans 10:11-15.
