Call . . . He Will Answer

Call . . . He Will Answer

Paul,
under inspiration said:

“But even if you did marry,
you would commit no sin.

And if a virgin married, such a person would commit no sin.

However,
those who do
will have tribulation in their flesh.

But I am trying to spare you.” 1 Cor. 7:28.

‘Tribulation in the flesh’ promised… Why does this hold true?… Is this ‘God-given’ institute of marriage frowned upon?… Will peace within the arrangement never ensue?

Well, didn’t Paul, under inspiration, state these words too?

“Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort,

who comforts us
in all our trials

so that we may be able to comfort others
in any sort of trial
with the comfort that we receive from God.” 2 Cor. 1:3, 4.

*

“For I am Jehovah;
I do not change.” Mal. 3:6. This ‘God of comfort’

Did this for his people wonderfully proclaim:

“‘For I well know the thoughts that I am thinking toward you,’ declares Jehovah,

‘thoughts of peace, and not of calamity,

to give you a future
and a hope.

And you will call me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.’

“‘You will seek me and find me,
for you will search for me with all your heart.

And I will let you find me,’
declares Jehovah.” Jer. 29:11-14.

*

Comforting.

To help carry you through your trials
imposed upon all individuals
from centuries ago
to those just born new.

*

When performing the very first marriage,
Jah spoke these words to travel to all who planned to marry,… though Adam and Eve’s deliberate action of disobedience,… cursed this sacred union too:

“That is why a man will leave his father and his mother and he will stick to his wife,

and they will become one flesh.” Gen. 2:24.

This pronouncement not a suggestion.

*

“And there is another thing that you do, which results in covering the altar of Jehovah with tears and with weeping and sighing,

so that he no longer pays attention to your gift offering or looks favorably on anything from your hand.

And you say, ‘For what reason?’

It is because Jehovah has acted as a witness between you and the wife of your youth, with whom you have dealt treacherously,

although she is your partner and your wife by covenant.

But there was one who did not do it, for he had what remained of the spirit.

And what was that one seeking?
The offspring of God.

So guard yourselves respecting your spirit, and do not deal treacherously with the wife of your youth.

For I hate divorce,” says Jehovah the God of Israel,

“and the one who covers his garment with violence,” says Jehovah of armies.

“And guard yourselves respecting your spirit, and you must not deal treacherously.

“You have made Jehovah weary with your words.

But you say, ‘How have we made him weary?’

By saying, ‘Everyone who does bad is good in the eyes of Jehovah, and he finds pleasure in him,’

or by saying,

‘Where is the God of justice?’”
Mal. 2:13-17.

*

Until total justice is eternally spun
by decree from God’s “Only-begotten Son”

Be comforted daily by these words
under your gift of heavenly sun and moon
circling

beautifying our skies

to bring us pleasure
not in ungratefulness to be despised:

“Do not be anxious over anything,

but in everything
by prayer and supplication
along with thanksgiving,

let your petitions be made known to God;

and the peace of God
that surpasses all understanding

will guard your hearts
and your mental powers

by means of Christ Jesus.” Phil. 4:6, 7.

*

Yes,

“Jehovah is near to all those calling on him,

To all who call on him in truth.

He satisfies the desire of those who fear him;

He hears their cry for help,
and he rescues them.” Ps. 145:18, 19.

*

“You open your hand
And satisfy the desire of every living thing.” Ps. 145:16.

The fulfillment of this promise to the meek ones on earth will cause joyful tears to international eyes everlastingly spring!

*

“The meek will eat and be satisfied;
Those seeking Jehovah will praise him.

May you enjoy life forever.” Ps. 22:26.
