Wondrous and Complete; Obvious, Yet, Discreet
Majestic
as His mountainous peaks.
Yet, delicately He designed snow flakes.
Magnificent. Individually. Each.
Speechless… Still, we seek a voice to
of their beauty exquisitely speak. Repeating their detailed designs in the blowing of glass
intricate, sometimes fragile. But never, this refined work, defined as weak.
Roars,
deep waters tumbling over cliffs so steep.
Or dripping from ice icicles warmed by sun’s delicious rays in once hidden hillside caves.
Glistening iridescent rainbows.
Causing our lids to gently leak.
Do you not weep
as bodies perform imitations of beauteous flows
as rivers, waves, or as thunder and lightning dramatic goes?… Their limbs leaping, tumbling, contorted or twirling upon toes
to music mimicking nature sweet
hands delicately outstretched to caress our hearts to melt as we do when accepting a single perfect rose from a loved one
who, us genuinely knows?
The moment maybe singular.
To, in memory, lovingly repeat.
A Creator
calls us to search our surroundings:
the ant, the lion, the snake, the snail.
A blade of grass. A hunger’s rumble. A skunk’s unpleasant smell.
And think upon Him,
The Designer who excels:
“For his invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward,
because they are perceived by the things made,
even his eternal power and Godship,
so that they are inexcusable.” Rom. 1:20.
So, “You are worthy, Jehovah our God,
to receive the glory and the honor and the power,
because you created all things,
and because of your will they came into existence and were created.” Rev. 4:11.
You are Almighty.
And wondrously Complete.
Yet, your love gives us life generously
abundant in mystery, beauty, intelligence.
Daily envisioned in everything… Obvious and yet, discreet.
As a Christian, I am curious to see how other people feel about God. Even if you don’t believe in God you are still free to enter. All AP rules apply, and HM’s will be adjusted accordingly. Best of luck to everyone and God bless!
