Love Is My Endeavor
Leaves dry dew tears to curl, crumble; ground to sleep–Death.
Bereft in silence. Spun seasons flown into years.
Careers camouflage anguish due to blatant theft.
Left to cradle near roots in the forest of fears.
Bereft in silence. Spun seasons flown into years.
Careers camouflage anguish due to blatant theft.
Left to cradle near roots in the forest of fears.
Hope appeared eventually in manly form made.
Staid fellow reassuring, promised to help cope.
Elope–a joy to ponder, since of life afraid.
Laid to rest, best plans, tripped up on slippery slope.
Amazed, as a volcano threatens to erupt.
Corrupted, my happiness. Blown skyward, I gaze.
Hazy again my goals. In disgust disrupted.
Interrupted a scene tranquil as sheep in graze.
Yet, I shall not cease in my constant endeavors
to sprout buds of love in my heart forever.
