The Manual
casually, ignorantly or arrogantly aside.
At one time, not taught
or perhaps noted
its value little
to those whose head held intelligence:
“In his haughtiness, the wicked man makes no investigation;
All his thoughts are: “There is no God.”” Ps. 10:4.
Yes, where an ingrown wisdom
did supposedly
fortunately
abide, said:
“I can be a good person without believing in God.”
“I can have high principles without believing in God.” Pled.
So, sun shined for days
into years of skins like coats
unseason shed.
Then rain fell constant and heavy
from under thunderous black skies
developed
steady overhead.
Manuals
still
not grabbed for;
instead
convened
the world’s best minds
conjoined or disjointed
about philosophies and theories
of their own
as best-sellers
enlightened
and gloriously
read.
All-the-while,
across all lands
absorbed
flesh and bones
plus blood bled
of mankind globally widespread.
Billions maybe
lifeless. Yes, dead, cold.
Their thoughts upon
which once mankind often fed
relegated to pages curled
threaded onto
discs or videos.
Referred to by others leading
when before they were the ones who brilliantly led.

Anglo-American. Last.
Spiraled
their power
now from ancient past.
While,
The Manual
does not lie upon vast beds.
Though containing all the answers
necessary
for Adam’s offspring
internationally bred:
“Do not put your trust in princes
Nor in a son of man, who cannot bring salvation.” Ps. 146:3.
Yet,
A minority grows larger
upon our globe does spread
as seeds blown.
God’s Word
reaching like roots
deep into their hearts and minds.
Becoming second-nature.
If allowed–Inbred
into soils tended.
Cultivated. Maintained
good conduct.
Clothed: Well-read.

Honest-hearted souls.

Soon. Ahead.
Therefore, read
this Manual
‘in an undertone day and night’.
Then chances are
you’ll never be
permanently
misguided or misled.
“Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah says:
“Look! My servants will eat, but you will go hungry.
Look! My servants will drink, but you will go thirsty.
Look! My servants will rejoice, but you will suffer shame.
Look! My servants will shout joyfully because of the good condition of the heart,
But you will cry out because of the pain of heart
And you will wail because of a broken spirit.” Isa. 65:13, 14.

The apostle Paul wrote his letter to Christians in Colossae evidently at the end of his first confinement in Rome, or about 60-61 C.E. He mentioned to them the importance of acquiring “spiritual comprehension.” (Col. 1:9) Paul further stated: “I am saying this so that no one may delude you with persuasive arguments. Look out that no one takes you captive by means of the philosophy and empty deception according to human tradition, according to the elementary things of the world and not according to Christ.” (Col. 2:4, 8) Paul went on to explain why some popular ideas were wrong and why worldly thinking may be appealing to imperfect people. For example, it may make a person feel wise and superior to others. The letter was aimed at helping the brothers to reject worldly thinking and wrong practices.—Col. 2:16, 17, 23. w17.11 20 ¶1
