Power Prevents; Restrains; Relents (contest POWER, what does it mean to you – Waynejent)
I visualize, this moment I see, when in a previous yard I watched a hawk pluck a chipmunk dazedly circling up our oak tree after being dropped free from a black cat bent on him as dinner… My husband initiating this episode, not intentionally, by picking up a stick showing this hungry feline carrying his flailing victim, a threatening human entity… Yes, power here shown in various degrees by winning opportunistic hawk, unhappy wily cat, shocked compassionate husband, even sad chipmunk once scrambling wearily away,… initially.
Each an eventual casualty in our daily struggles to attain even little personal victories… Until, the Creator of lightening bolts inserting electric discharges throughout the atmosphere when they awesomely appear, or pounding waterfalls harnessed–clear water plus electricity to us, steered, says: “Enough!” to blatant abuse of power. . . Loud, like His Magnificent thunder,
for all the universe to gloriously hear!
The Picture is not the prompt, just a picture of something with power.

Based upon 1 Chron. 29:11-14: “Yours, O Jehovah, are the greatness and the mightiness and the beauty and the splendor and the majesty, for everything in the heavens and on the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Jehovah. You are the One exalting yourself as head over all.
The riches and the glory are from you, and you rule over everything, and in your hand there are power and mightiness, and your hand is able to make great and to give strength to all.
And now, O our God, we thank you and praise your beautiful name.
“And yet, who am I and who are my people that we should be in a position to make voluntary offerings like this? For everything is from you, and we have given to you what comes from your own hand.”
