Death On a Torture

‘Death On a Torture Stake’ (contest Poem on the Trinity – Ronald A William)

I am convinced; “know for a certainty
that God made him both Lord and Christ,
this Jesus whom you executed on a stake.” Acts 2:36.

Yes, “they shouted: “To the stake with him! To the stake with him!”

Pilate said to them: “Take him yourselves and execute him, for I do not find any fault in him.”” John 19:6. Even many Jews later becoming “stabbed to the heart”.

“Peter said to them: “Repent, and let each one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for forgiveness of your sins,

and you will receive the free gift of the holy spirit.” Which Jesus promised God would impart:

“And I will ask the Father
and he will give you another helper to be with you forever,

the spirit of the truth, which the world cannot receive, because it neither sees it nor knows it.

You know it, because it remains with you and is in you.” John 14:16, 17. In it they did believe.

“For the promise is to you and your children, and to all those who are far away,

to all those whom Jehovah our God may call to himself.” Acts 2:37, 38. Because: “No one comes to the Father
except through me.” John 14:6. “But the helper, the holy spirit,
which the Father will send in my name,

that one will teach you all things and bring back to your minds all the things I told you.”

Yes, Jesus promised: “I leave you peace; I give you my peace…
You heard that I said to you, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would rejoice

that I am going to the Father,
for the Father is greater than I am.” John 14:26-28. This fact profound, Jesus did not deny.

Yes, “God “subjected all things under his feet.” But when he says that ‘all things have been subjected,’ it is evident that this does not include the One who subjected all things to him.

But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him,

that God may be all things to everyone.” 1 Cor. 15:27, 28.

So, “the Word became flesh and resided among us, and we had a view of his glory,

a glory such as belongs to an only-begotten son from a father;

and he was full of divine favor and truth.” John 1:14.

He himself said: “for I have come down from heaven
to do, not my own will, but the will of him who sent me.” John 6:38. Even stated:

“And going a little way forward, he fell facedown, praying:

“My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from me. Yet, not as I will, but as you will.” Matt. 26:39.

And “From the sixth hour on, a darkness fell over all the land until the ninth hour.

About the ninth hour, Jesus called out with a loud voice, saying: “Eʹli, Eʹli, laʹma sa·bach·thaʹni?”

that is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” Matt. 27:45, 46.

“And Jesus called out with a loud voice and said: “Father, into your hands I entrust my spirit.” After he said this, he expired.” Luke 23:46.

“And look! the curtain of the sanctuary was torn in two, from top to bottom, and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split.”

“But when the army officer and those with him keeping watch over Jesus saw the earthquake and the things happening, they grew very much afraid and said:

“Certainly this was God’s Son.””Matt. 27:51, 54

“Because of seeing what occurred, the army officer began to glorify God”. Luke 23:47.

Yes, to the grave Jesus’ life was relegated
until Jah Jehovah, by means of resurrection
His dear Son’s spirit reinstated:

“God resurrected this Jesus”. Acts 2:32.

“God exalted this one as Chief Agent and Savior to his right hand, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.” Acts 5:31.

“For it was fitting that the one for whom and through whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the Chief Agent of their salvation perfect through sufferings.” Heb. 2:10.

Yes, “when he came as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death,

yes, death on a torture stake.” Phil. 2:8.
