Truth not Truth?
Only
In darkened minds of enemies
whose only thrill is to dispel
to conceal. To smother proof.
In brief control of haughty man
Burnt embers staining hidden hands
Of ancient book surviving bans.
The father of the vicious lie
Twists and tries to grey out light
of accurate knowledge he despise.
His dying goal: To blind the eyes.
To propagate mystery. To wickedly bind.
To confuse and thoroughly entwine,
distort till…
The “God of Truth” says:
Now’s the time
My word to shine
My sheep to loose.
The Devil and his?
No more to roost.

I want to know the philosophical, existential or metaphysical aspect of this statement, however you may see it. Don’t gimme an answer like “when it’s a lie” that’s B.S. I want you guys to look outside the box, I want a fresh, unique perspective, I know there are some brainiacs out there, impress me and I want it in 100 words or less.
So, do any of you think you’re up to this challenge? Show me what you’re made of…. sock it to me!
Poem based on John 8:44; Psalm 31:5; John 17:17
