Watch

the clock.
No reversals; no stop
whether we sail or whether we dock.
The clock keeps tocking
while nations keep rocking the boat
gloating over tragedies; widening the moat.
So harsh the sound of human failures.
Splashing the oceans with oily endeavors.
Baby seals’ futures threatened.
Babies in general frightened too
through parents who hesitate to provide
security and peace
in homes, circling our globe, to abide.
Tick tock
the clock.
No reversals; no stop
whether we hail or whether we refuse to regale
a charging King
equipped with righteous war to bring
an end to wickedness. To lift us up. To vengeance beget.
A world upset.
Tick tock
the clock.
No reversals; no stop.
Fathers and sons united;
once dead. The King renewed
their lives instead of forgetting their works.
The earth rejoiced
since born anew and fed the grounds
to produce
a bounty of fruits and wine to drink
to enliven the lives of those who think upon his name.
They
indeed
bore no further shame.
Eternity is now theirs to gain
under the circling suns and moons.
No tears; no pain; no death.
Do come
soon… Thy Kingdom!
Tick tock
the clock.
No reversals; no stop.
Yet,
We Fear
Not
No Earthly Doom.
