WAR NOT. . .

War Not. . .

As
“Peter stood forward
with the eleven and raised his voice
and uttered these words to them:

“Fellow-Jews,
and all you who live in Jerusalem,

be this known to you,
and give ear to my words.”

I remind you:

There exists:
“One who always remains faithful.”
Acts 2:14; Ps. 145:6.

As our sun
moon
tides of great seas

gravity…

He created these.

It is Him
we should please…

***

War Not…

“Work,

not for the food that perishes,
but for the food that remains for everlasting life,

which the Son of man will give you;

for on this one the Father,
God himself,

has put his seal of approval.”

John 6:27.

***

““Men of Israel,
hear these words:

Jesus the Naz·a·reneʹ
was a man publicly shown to you by God

through powerful works and wonders and signs
that God did through him in your midst,

just as you yourselves know.”

Acts 2:22.

“He received from God the Father

honor and glory

when words such as these
were conveyed to him by the magnificent glory:

“This is my Son, my beloved,
whom I myself have approved.””

2 Pet. 1:17.

Yes,
“a voice came out of the cloud,
saying:

“This is my Son,
the one who has been chosen.

Listen to him.””

Luke 9:35.

***

“Because even Christ suffered for you,
leaving a model for you to follow his steps closely.

***

He committed no sin,
nor was deception found in his mouth.

When he was being insulted,
he did not insult in return.

When he was suffering,
he did not threaten,

but he entrusted himself
to the One who judges righteously.

He himself bore our sins
in his own body on the stake,

so that we might die to sins
and live to righteousness.

And “by his wounds you were healed.”

For you were like sheep going astray”.

1 Pet. 2:21-25.

***

“Like sheep
we have all wandered about,

Each has turned his own way,

And Jehovah has caused the error of us all
to meet up with him.”

Isa. 53:6.

“For Christ died once for all time for sins,
a righteous person for unrighteous ones,

in order to lead you to God.

He was put to death in the flesh
but made alive in the spirit.”

1 Pet. 3:18.

“He is the image of the invisible God,
the firstborn of all creation”.

Col. 1:15.

***

“Jesus said to them
(His disciples):

“My food is to do the will of him who sent me
and to finish

his work.”

John 4:34.

***

“For this purpose
the Son of God was made manifest,

to break up the works of the Devil.”

***

Therefore:
“Everyone who practices sin is also practicing lawlessness,
and sin is lawlessness.

You know, too, that he was made manifest to take away our sins,
and there is no sin in him.

Everyone remaining in union with him
does not practice sin;

no one who practices sin
has either seen him or come to know him.

Little children,
let no one mislead you;

the one who practices righteousness
is righteous,

just as that one is righteous.

The one who practices sin
originates with the Devil,

because the Devil has been sinning from the beginning.”

1 John 3:4-8.

***

“Little children,
we should love,

not in word or with the tongue,

but in deed
and
truth.”

1 John 3:18.

“Obedience to the truth
with unhypocritical brotherly affection

as the result,

love one another intensely
from the heart.”

1 Pet. 1:22.

***

“Really, the objective
of this instruction

is love

out of a clean heart
and out of a good conscience

and out of faith

without
hypocrisy.”

1 Tim. 1:5.

***

“Rejoice in the hope.
Endure under tribulation.
Persevere in prayer.”

Rom. 12:12.

***

“Happy is the one who has the God of Jacob
as his helper,

Whose hope is in Jehovah
his God,

The Maker of heaven
and earth,

Of the sea,
and of all that is in them,

The One

who always remains
faithful”.

Ps. 145:5, 6
